Engraving is an extraordinary way of adding a personalized and custom element to gifting, making it a truly one-of-a-kind and unforgettable gift. Using a high-speed drill fitted with a diamond tipped burr, I marry the time-honored art of calligraphy in my personal script with the careful craftsmanship of hand engraving resulting in a beautifully bespoke and treasured keepsake.
Name(s), a monogram, or special message are a few examples of what can be engraved. Metallic wax filling to enhance the engraving is also available in gold and silver.
Hand engraving is permanent unlike paint, markers, and vinyl, and suitable to a variety of surfaces. Our most frequent commissions are for wine bottles, whisk(e)y and cognac bottles, perfume bottles, leather journals, glassware (wine, champagne flutes and old-fashioned glasses), compact mirrors, and marble coasters.
Engraved gifts provide the perfect personalized touch to corporate gifting, realtor closing gifts, milestone celebrations (e.g., graduation, anniversary, birthday, retirement, etc.), and bridesmaid and groomsmen gifts.
Please note due to liability issues, I will not engrave on any pressure-bottled items including Champagne, Prosecco, sparkling wines and sparkling water. Engraving can compromise the integrity of the bottle causing it to explode during engraving or at any time thereafter. While not permanent, I can use paint or paint markers to letter your message on these bottles.
